Grief Share is for anyone who has lost a loved one, whether that loss was recent or not. In our meetings, at no time will you be called out to speak or share your experience of losing that person who was dear to you. You talk only if you want to. There are no demands on you. If you have gone through a loss, it can be very difficult to talk about it, and we understand that because we, too, have lost loved ones. But just coming to the group, sitting, and listening to others can be of great help. We know that it is a hard first step in anyone’s grief journey. You may want to bring a friend or loved one with you, which is perfectly fine. Also, you may know of someone that is grieving and needs support during a loss. You are more than welcome to come with that person to give them extra support. Grief Share is open to anyone in our community. We are not licensed therapists, nor do we have any counseling credentials. We are just friends who have been in your shoes if you’ve experienced loss, and we want to help. You don’t have to sign up,… just show up. We will be happy to see you. Grief Share meets every 1st Sunday of the month at the Providence West Campus.
Blessings,
